Interim Director of Worship & Music: Craig Stephan cstephan@hotmail.com
Child Care: Kyla Nelson & Talenna Blaker |
We invite you to join with our family of faith as we praise God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Invitation to Communion: By Jesus’ own invitation and through his mercy, all baptized Christians are welcome to join in the celebration of Holy Communion at Tree of Life regardless of denominational affiliation. The Lutheran Church affirms and proclaims the real presence of Christ in the elements for communion, strengthening the Church as the body of Christ. Children and adults who do not yet commune are welcome to come forward with the congregation for a blessing. Younger communicants and adults who have allergies or intolerance to alcohol are offered grape juice instead of wine so that they might participate fully in the meal.
If you are looking for a new Church home, we invite you to become a part of our Church family. If you would like to inquire about membership, feel free to call the church office at 936.539.9530 and speak to Pastor Lake. We will be happy to answer your questions. May your worship experience be filled with the Hope and Joy of the Risen Christ!
Nursery: Nursery care is available for children birth to four years. The nursery is located in the Fellowship Hall/Sunday School Building. It is the first room on the right past the restrooms. Pagers are assigned to each parent when you sign in your child.
Restrooms: The restrooms are located at the end of the hallway to your right as you enter through the front doors.
We are a liturgical church. The basic pattern of our worship is drawn from the worship of Christians for many centuries all across the world. All parts of the Liturgy come from the Bible, and serve to focus our worship on God speaking to us in His word. We respond in faith. As Dr. Martin Luther once said, “We worship to hear God speak and to speak to the God who hears us.” We pray that you, too, will celebrate the rich spiritual rewards of our heritage as we worship the Lord together.
Coffee Fellowship: We invite our Guests to join us for our coffee fellowship between services in the Fellowship Hall/Sunday School building hallway. Then, please make your Sunday complete with the Study of God’s Word and the joyful Christian fellowship of one of our Bible Classes and Sunday School at 9:15 a.m.
Sunday School: Educational opportunities are available for all ages every Sunday at 9:15 a.m.
Hearing Assistance: We have a hearing assist system in place for use in the sanctuary. There are currently 4 listening devices available. If you have trouble hearing the service, ask one of the ushers for a device.
